Anyone in Uk, Or USA, help me with this school decision!! it's very important

Anyone in Uk, Or USA, help me with this school decision!! it's very important?
OK, so just to stART off here's some backround info on the school sytems. UK: You go to primary and secondary school. Then when you're done with secondary you go to get your A levels, at the age of 16-18.(2 years) USA:You go to ghischool, graduate hgihschool at 18, then go to college. I really WANT TO GO TO A COLLEGE IN the UK. Like i'm sure of it. I'm in 9th grade, and here's the catch. I'm deciding between graduating highscool and trying to get in to a uni in the UK(it's hard to get in if overseas and about 3 times as much money) Or, after 10th grade going to get my A levels in the UK, so i can get in to a uni in the UK easier, and A TON less money. Which one do you think i should do? Either way, i'm getting a better education for the future. It's just that i am goin to live in the UK when i'm older, and so i think i should go to et my A levles at 16, because ppl out there know what it is, but i'm not sure. what do you think

I think doing 10th grade then going to UK for A-levels sounds a better idea

You can't do A-levels if you don't do GCSEs. The best thing to do, If you really want to do A-levels, is to move to the UK as soon as possible. You would be in 2 months into Year 10, which is like a GCSE preparation year. The following (year 11) would be the year you would do your GCSEs. If You need more information on GCSEs or anything else, leave a message.

Think really carefully...the UK is not a fantastic place to be...expensive, crowded, miserable weather, hard to get a house. Are you sure? If so, I would get over here and do the A levels first

I think the easiest way to go about it would be to stay in the US and go to a private school which offers the IB (International Baccalaureate) course, which is accepted by UK universities, and in some ways preferred over A-levels. I think this would actually be a good deal cheaper than moving to England to finish High School. I don't really understand why you think it would be cheaper to go to uni in England if you lived there for a couple of years before hand. Do you have dual citizenship or something? Do you have family in the UK? I don't think going to a foreign country on your own at 16 would be a very good idea, In fact, I'm not sure if it would be allowed under immigration law.

In the past students took an exam at 12 and if they passed they went to the grammar school to do more difficult courses history, geography, Latin, maths. This would lead to O and A levels. If they failed they went to the secondary modern where they generally did practical courses and did CSE exams, The system continues in a few places like Buckinghamshire but students all do GCSE's now. In most places this system was scrapped and replaced by schools who taught everything to everyone (a comprehensive education). All of the above are government run Private schools don't exist. I think you mean Public schools are ones which people pay for their children to attend such as Eton, Harrow

Look for a shop called Hobby Craft, I know there's one at Meadowhall Sheffield, but I don't where you are in the UK. They should be all over the place

Yes - Hobbycraft. They do large containers of different paints in the children's section. Also, have a look at the website for Fred Aldous, a supplier of many different art and crafts materials. And most high streets will have an Early Learning Centre (often within a Mothercare). and what used to be Partners (now Rymans), and the officer supply store Staples might have them (not so sure, though).
