I wouildn't know about that, but in most cases when you are a citizen of a country your child who is a foreigner normally gets special permission to live with you. You should check with the proper authority in your area

If she enters the country on her Australian passport, she will need a settlement visa. As long as she is aged between 5-18, she will be entitled to go to school in the UK. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/infs/inf6familymembers The problems really start once she is over 18. As she will no longer be a minor, she has to have either a student visa to remain in the UK or a UK/EEA passport unless she is granted ILR on arrival when she comes to live with you, which she probably would be. If she is entitled to a British passport, it is worth the hassle as she can travel visa free throughout Europe and live, work and study where she chooses. As an Australian, she needs a visa for anything other than tourism.

If you are British then she is entitled to a British passport too, and that allows her to be a British resident. For the sake of ease, it'd be far better for her to have both passports. Without British citizenship, she will always have to be applying for visas, both to stay within the UK and to travel within the EU zone.

yes she can go

If you are British through being born in the UK, then your daughter is also a British citizen, by descent, though her children will not be unless they are actually born in the UK. It will save a great deal of trouble later on if she gets a UK passport (check the website of the High Commission in Canberra, though I think all UK passports in Australasia are now issued from NZ). Note that the qualification for getting UK domestic fee rates for higher education is residency, not citizenship - if she wants to pay UK rates for university courses she has to have been resident in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of her course, regardless of what citizenship she holds.

Well I don't have children yet but I know that each school is different and it varies from early September to later. If you're not sure it's best to phone them up and ask, it's near the beginning of term anyway so there should be someone there.

I go back on the second, it's somewhere like that. Go on the school's website and check if they have one or ask someone else who goes to that school because chances are it'll be a different day. =]
3 :
it depends which borough and when you broke up, try your local borough councils website.
4 :
I start school on the 8th September but it varies from school to school. Try calling your school, I'm sure they'll be able to help you. Good luck! :)
